2004 Suburban 1/2ton 4x4. Left turn signal works fine, flashes normal. Right turn signal will intermittently work fine when driving or when hazard button on.

When you hit the brakes, the dash right turn signal indicator will turn on solid - most of the time.

If dash right turn signal indicator is solid, brake lights will be on and right turn signal lamps will also be on solid.

Other times, the right turn signal will not work either driving or with hazard button flashed. Also, wouldn't come on when braking.

Brake lights always come on.

Have factory trailer hitch wiring. Very seldom used.

Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.
