Thinking about buying a 2004 Suburban with 160,000 miles on it. Very clean inside and out. All the extras. Test drove for about 30 minutes runs great. They are replacing the oil pump before they sell it. Not sure if it is worth 11,000 any suggestions or opinions?

160,000 miles isn't that bad if it was well maintained. I do have a serious question as to why it needs an oil pump. I have a 99 with 175,000 miles on it and it still has good oil pressure with the original oil pump. Something tells me that if the oil pump needs replacing that there are also other parts ready to fail. You also don't say anything about which engine and what else is on the truck.

The $11K seems a little high for an 04.
