Default Swapping console for jumpseat on 2007 suburban

Hi all, I have a 2007 Suburban LTZ with the centre console and would like to swap for a jump seat (like this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/183920147581). Anyone know if this is possible/straightforward? I can't find any videos online with the exact configuration that I have.

Thanks!

If you have a center console that extends forward to the dash, odds are you may be missing dashboard trim panels that cover the bottom center of the dash if you remove the console. It may be possible that your floor is tapped with the holes for mounting the jump seat if that was a factory option - otherwise you'll need to drill holes and mount with nuts from the bottom side. The factory seat would have welded nuts or tapped holes in the floor to match the mounting bracket, hidden under the carpet. Carpet may or may not run up under your console either - also a consideration.

I hope you figure out a way to make it work, if so, let us know how it works out.

Yeah - wish that video clip showed the dash area and floor. It would be interesting to see what all is involved in those areas.
