Default Swapping Door Panels

Considering both of our Tahoes have the uncomfortable plastic armrests, I'm interested in swapping all door panels in both, one at a time though.

I've checked eBay, and since I'm starting out with driver's doors first, I decided to look for the 2008 panels [with stitched leather]. I could only find I think 1 panel that matched my interior color, from an Escalade, but it's more than half price because of the way it's bent up and broken, so I don't think I'll be getting that one. Other than that I can only find panels for the other doors. However, I found a lot of cashmere-colored Denali panels, and I was wondering if you guys think that putting the two-tone cashmere panels on my doors would go well with my black interior [which I don't really care for]? This is only a last resort option, if I can't find any ebony door panels anywhere.

As for our 2002 model, the panels that I found are what I want, but they look like their color will be a lot different than the interior color of this one, even though they're both called "tan/shale". Again, would it actually match or would it stand out and look bad?

My last question: eBay is where I've checked for these panels, and I'm hoping that's not the only place online where these can be found. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

it may be a long shot but try www.car-part.com they are pretty good and way cheap you just have to find the ones that dont have any defects.

Might be cheaper and easier to have a car upholstery shop put leather on your existing armrest.

[Finally able to log back in, something wrong with browser.]

73Shark, that's a great idea that I will consider, I just need to find out whether or not ours can do that...and if we even have one locally. [8D]

d1nonly34, thanks for the link but it was a little hard to navigate there and I couldn't find the category for door panels, I just saw a lot of "empty door shells".

Found a few via Google, do you think they'll be able to stitch some that matches the factory leather?
