Default Tahoe 1 Deer 0

Almost stopped in time but she double backed turning on a dime and ran right back in from of me...
all cosmetic but still a pain in the a$$ to deal with
thinking of having the Hybrid front dress put on if it will fit and I'll have to give up the fog lamps

Dang , dorry to hear that. Your right , deer are everyware in central Texas, my wife hit one in our tahoe on our way to Arizona, a 18 wheeler did the kill and my wife ran over it at about 60 MPH, it was scary(the 18 wheeler rocked pretty good too) she got up on 3 wheels, I was driving right behind her. luckily I just had to pressure spray the guts off the wheel wells, no damage. Thank gawd for the steering stability system.

wow definetly bummer, but from the picts appears to be minor damage and no one hurt which is the best outcome considering. make sure to wipe the blood spots off those cool rims and yellow calipers

I vaguely remember as a kid, on a scouting trip in the sierra's I was a pasenger in a Honda civic and a deer ran along side of the road and took out the front end, and ended up totally the civic. If I lived in Deer country definetly make sense to invest in those bumper whistles, or comparable detourant.

So for the (4-days of "worst evers") just found out mine is costing me $2k (flatbed tow, new axle, new hubs, labor) almost as much as I paid for the boat. oh well life happens...

cheers

Bummer. I know how it is. Luckily both of my deer hits with the Blazer yeilded only one scratch.

Good excuse to get a billet grill if you like them and decide not to go w/ the hybrid.
