Tahoe 2007 No picture rear camera after new dvd player installed.
Hello guys, Chris from Sweden.
I have the pleasure of being the owner of an Chevy Tahoe 2007 and have had it now for almost 1 month, and boy what a car! These are very rare here in Sweden, can be due to the gas is 2,46 dollars an liter=9.3 dollars an gallon, so stop wining you :-).
Anyways, my question:
I have installed one of these:
Natalie.se
but i dont get the rear camera to work, just pitch black, on the screen it says camera but nothing more. Is there some kind of adapter or something for this?
Ill appreciate all the answers i can get cause i dont want to run over an cat or so.

Christopher welcome to the forum
I think we will be doing more then whining if gas gets anywhere near $9 a gallon
Was the unit you got all self contained? Its always a good idea to hook it up outside the vehicle to make sure everything works prior to installation...
I would double check all your connections...
Make sure the player doesn't have a separate input that needs to selected for the camera input.
I would also check the power to the camera and the wiring that you have ran to ensure its not pinched or cut anywhere...
