Shark I honestly was thinking the same thing, I think GM will have to have something in Sport Utility but the current market could change things, the real twist is gas prices, who'da thunk they would drop like they have... I'm spending less to fill her up now then when I bought her. In the last6 weeks I don't think I have paid over 30 bucks to fill up!

Yes, GM will keep the Chevy, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac for 2010. Pontiac will be discontinued. GM had too many brands under one umbrella, and that was part of their problem.
They are being forced to cut back on brands, and it's a good thing, since they were over extended on models. They will be a strong Company again, but just streamlined.
GM makes good vehicles, and they should be even better in the future, since they can focus on just a few Brands, instead of being stretched too thin. Also, we will probably see more Hybrids. It may take people a while to get overly excited about Hybrids, considering the cost, and the upkeep
