I know this sounds crazy, but in the 2000 model year, the new body style GMT800 series were available with a Z71 suspension option even with the LS package. However, it did not come with the decals or any sort of different running boards or leather seats. If I'm not mistaken, it was simply the shocks/springs that were different. So the decal was added by someone afterwards, it wouldn't have come that way.
The only reason I know is because I ordered my 2000 GMC Yukon in late '99, it was a 2wd SLE package (same as LS on the Tahoe) and the Z71 suspension WAS an option on it. It has no Z71 decal, you'd never know it had the Z71 suspension unless you saw the factory window sticker. It was only a couple hundred dollars extra.
So yes, the 2000 Tahoe could indeed have a Z71 suspension, but it wouldn't have the decals. I don't think the Z71 decals and leather seats and tube running boards didn't show up until the '01 or '02 models.

There is more then one code that can have a similar meaning depending on the way a vehicle is ordered.
In your Tahoe's case RPO 1SL signifies Proffered Equipment Group Z71 which is only available with LT equipment, if you had just a plain LT it would be 1SM and if you had an LS model it would be either 1SJ or 1SK

The GMT800 Tahoe was NEVER OFFERED with a Z71 Package or SUSPENSION OPTION in LS trim in either 2 or 4 Wheel drive.!
If you don't believe my then lets see your VIN # and I'll post a breakdown of your window sticker.
The previous GMT400 Version was offered with both a Z71 Package (1999 and 2000 four-door models) and on earlier 2-Door models a simple Z71 Suspension option similar to what was originally offered on the trucks.

I still don't see your smiley face in the previous post, but that's ok...I know I am the new guy and I know I am here to learn.
I guess I just see a lot of LT options that my Z71 didNOT come with, such as:
No heated dual power seats with memory
No auto climate control
No adjustable pedals
No third row bench
No satellite radio
No garage door opener
So I guess I always assumed I didnt have the LT trim. But I learn everyday.

I can't find my window sticker from my 00 Yukon, but I do have the original dealer brochure showing it as an available option.

In 2000 Chevy produced both the GMT400 and GMT800 Tahoe, the older GMT400 model was offered only in Z71 trim while the new style GMT800 showed a Z71 package option it was not made available until the 2001 model year.
I can recreate your window sticker with the VIN.
