Default Tahoe fuel economy

I just recently bought an 06 Tahoe and im barely getting 12.5 mpg, is this pretty standard fuel consumption or should i look into getting something fixed?

That's not bad for in town. 17-20 hwy. All depends on the drivers.

i forgot to clarify, im getting 12.5 combined and i drive it moderately.

The average for a 4WD is 13 city / 18 highway / 15 combined. The average for a 2WD is 14 city / 19 highway / 16 combined.

When was the last time you had the vehicle serviced?

"73shark" also makes a good point. Fuel economy can vary based on how the vehicle is driven, the conditions the vehicle is driven in and how well it is maintained.
