This is a 5.3, 2001 Tahoe with 90,000 miles...it suddenly stopped while driving.. acted like it ran out of gas, had it towed home ..can hear fuel pump running when first turn it on.. fuel filter was really dirty and mostly blocked so i changed it .now i have gas to the motor but starts and dies after a 3 or 4 seconds like it runs out of gas.. i exchaned the relay with the horn relay ..(there the same i belive) still no change ..Any suggestions sure would be appreciated...thansk to all

 

I would have the fuel pressure tested.
