Default Tahoe heater fan

I have a '95 Tahoe. Just recently the heater fan quit working properly. I have 1 speed, and that is high. The fan was making a little noise. Could it be the fan, or is it the switch in the dash? Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

i know that with any chrysler product, when this occurs, it is due to a bad blower resistor..i think that it is probably a similar issue.

Sounds like a resistor on this one. GM uses them. You can test the blower motor by disconnecting it and jumping 12v direct from your battery. That will confirm the blower is working. The resistor controls all the speeds. The part should not be expensive and is usually located under the hood on or around the evaporator box.

Hope this helps!
