Tahoe - Long Lasting - Most Miles? - Better tasting?
1998 Subruban - just turned 250k this past weekend. I am the second owner, body and frame in great shape, no leaks. Needs ball joints and I noticed a loss of power over time... she is just getting old
I wish Chevy still provided those 250k club certificates!

Just at 202,000. Only replaced fuel pump, along with batteries. Thinking of doing water pump as a preventative since when they go out, the overheat causes all sorts of other problems. No trans issues yet but I have the entire trans/converter flushed every 30K. Tows a 14' box trailer quite a bit, also. Would love a new one, but this one keeps on running great.
My 2006 Suburban has 317,000 miles & still runs great! Bought it new do I will have it til it dies. Only minor repairs...nothing major
this has been the best truck I've ever owned, my 2004 wasn't so great...lots of issues at 80K miles so traded it for the 06.

I have a 1995 with 215,000 miles.
can anyone beat the miles on their tahoe?
Most miles wins, but only the recognition that they win.
I can post a photo of mine as well... so no cheaters!
Replaced: Water pump (2), Alternator, Battery, Starter, heater core, radiator, plugs, wires, rotor/cap.

2007 Suburban LTZ 5.3L. Should be over 203,000 miles now when my wife gets back from a dance competition.
Always use Mobil 1
Replaced:
-All differential bearings, cups and seals (Pinion bearing and cup were pitted)
-Auto Ride Pump
-Auto Ride Shocks
-Remote Control (Kids lost the original)
-Lower Ball Joints
-Upper Control Arm (For Ball Joints)
-All front suspension bushings
-Replaced the EVAP assembly (Above the spare tire)
Rebuilt the transmission at 202,000 miles due to broken forward sprag. Friction material all looked like new. 2-4 band was worn through to the spot welds but the rest was like new. I recommend doing a full fluid and filter change every 50K miles. Not jus the pan fluid change.
Performed the cylinder soak as it was starting to use some oil.
Installed the AFM shield due to some oil consumption.
Oil pan gasket was leaking some at the front and rear cover joints. Replaced when the AFM shield was installed.
Rebuilt the right mirror motor as it was sticking.
Major hail damage repaired using PDR.
I live in the southeast and we have virtually no rust on our vehicles here so I'll just keep on maintaining and repairing the suburban indefinitely.

I've got a 2011 Chevy Tahoe Z71 5.3L. Coming up on 310,000 miles (500,000km I'm Canadian)
Only done regular fluid maintenance, spark plugs, water pump, power steering pump, radiator, associated cooling lines/power steering lines. Wouldn't consider any of these major issues.
Planning to do full steering/suspension replacements to celebrate the half a million kilometers. Gonna ride her til she dies.
