Sometimes with or without the key in the ignition when exiting my 2013 Tahoe the doors will literally lock themselves. More than once I've had to find a spare door key to make entry. What is very odd is its random. It might happen one out of 25 times the car is exited or it might happen 3 out of 10. Any suggestions?

 

I have the same thing in my 2011 Suburban. I get a 3-chime notice when I open the door to get out, and I know it's going to lock itself after 5 seconds.

The first few times I didn't know what it was giving the chimes. Someone on here mentioned that 3 chimes was the door lock, and so I wanted and saw it locked itself after 5 seconds.

I don't have a solution...just it sounds as if I'm having the same problem you have.
