Default Temperature Sensor in Headliner - Noise

The last few mornings I have noticed interference coming from the climate control temperature sensor located in the headliner above the driver seat. Strangest thing. It goes away after a few minutes, but it quite annoying at first. I'm hoping this doesn't escalate into a larger problem.

I've searched the forums and couldn't find anything. Has anyone else had this problem? My first guess is to check the grounds, but I have no idea where to start looking. Any help is appreciated!

There is a small fan behind the little grill that goes bad.

I blew both of mine out. Turns out, they were full of dust. The noise has gone away... Just a quick blast with air compressor

I would agree that it probably just needs to be cleaned, don't use too high of an air pressure though as you could damage it...
Here is the procedure for removing it if you so choose to...

I wish I could get a hold of newer electronic service manuals....my data starts falling out at the 2009-10 models
I have found new model paper manuals but they are way to hard to search, scan, copy paste
