Default Thinking of getting a wood steering wheel? Your thoughts?

Here is the item: http://www.stwheel.com/s/index.php?m...25d31b9e656bde

I think it would be just the right touch to make it look a bit more luxury... No flames please just some opinions?

Can you post a finished picture? Also, How difficult was it to change it with the airbag?

They are a piece of cake to change but there a couple things that you have to be very careful with.

IMHO: The wood looks good but gets too hot in the summer heat.

Those steering wheels look slick!!! There is a comment on the website's main page about not providing the airbag controls...does anyone know what else would be involved with installing one of these? I.e. what extra costs, difficulties, etc.

Have you seen this site...

Was looking at replacing mine early on, but still kind of pricey for the wood steering wheel IMO. This site has a lot better prices than the one above. I love the look of the wood wheel. I would just make sure it matches the wood trim you have in your specific Tahoe. Jeff, did you get the black wood wheel??
