Does anyone have any idea about the wiring diagram for the third brake light on a 2000 Tahoe? Ever since a body repair a few years ago, the high mount brake light does not work. I believe that the body shop left it disconnected, but I have no idea where to check.

Maybe someone has an FSM and can check it out.

Have you checked all the fuses?
Have you removed the light assembly and checked to see if voltage is present with the brake peddle depressed?
Have you tried applying 12v to the light assembly to see if it lights?
Do all of your tail and brake lights currently work?
Have you tried following the wire harness back as far you can to the next connection and checking voltage there?
Remeber the brake peddle has to be pressed to get the 3rd brake light to light
Not trying to be condescending but it’s the doh! That gets us sometimes...
Just an idea of a few places/things to check if a manual and wire diagram isn't available and sinceyou hadn't stated that you checked them.
