Default tire rubbing

I replaced the OEM Goodyear 265/70/17 tires on my 2003 Suburban Z71 with BFG 285/70/17 tires, mounted on the OEM 17 x 10 wheels. However when the vehicle compresses from goingover driveways or bumps, the rear tires rub up against the wheelwell plastic.Any suggestions? Are there"spacers" that move the wheels outwards to remedy this problem? Thanks.

The best solution is to replace the tires or buy new wheels with slight offset to move the tires out from the inner body. The stock wheels keep the tires too close to the inner fender.

Hi there ,
They sell wheel spacers at almost any rim shop or even on ebay they run about 100bucks according to type of suv,or you can just trim your plastic its not going to hurt anything.
Goodluck,

You can also use a heat gun to reshape the fender liners if the rubbing is not extreme.
