How much bigger are they? Clearance at full turn would probably be the only issue. I jumped from the standard 245's (only size offered on
3/4 ton burbs.) to 265's. The duratracs rubbed at full turn but my new silent armor's dont.

what do you think of the silent armor tire. i like mine but they dont seem to have as precise steering as the duellers did. and it seems like i lost a mpg in fuel economy.

Did you get the Pro-Grade tires? The salesman at the goodyear store Told me to stay away from the non Pro-Grade silent armor's. I love them, man they are the quietest tire i have owned and i see my mpg's went up due to a non aggresive tread pattern.

i have the non pro grade version. the pro grade has a different tread pattern than the non pro grade? i thought it was a different rubber composition.

they are quiet for being an all terrain tire though.

I was told not to go with the Non pro grade because of their load rating and sidewall flex. I have the 3/4 ton. I could not run the tire Pressure for the non pro grade, my sensors would constantly go off. I had to go with the E range. you are correct about being a quiet tire with an all terrain pattern. Fourwheeler mag did a test of tires and gave the silent armor 5 star rating for snow and they were correct. only drawback on these tires are thet are PRICEY.

I leveled my suburban by adjusting the Torsion bars 2 years ago so i needed an alignment. It has tracked perfectly straight since then so no alignment was needed. I contacted goodyear prior to purchasing. i saw several comments about sidewall failure and premature wear. i was told this was because of folks with HD and 3/4 ton as wellas owners that tow/carry heavy objects not using the Pro-Grade ones. I think with a 1500 Burb you would be fine.

Kinda feels the same although it felt Tighter with the duratracs but i was running less pressure with the Duratracs and the agressive tread pattern probably made a difference.
