Default Tires for suburban

I need tires for my 2016 suburban. 285/45/22
Mainly highway miles but needs to also be able to pull a boat out of the water.

So far it is between
Cooper Discoverer SRX
Continental Contact HT

Anyone have experience with either one of these tires?

Default suburban tires

I have no experience with either of those tires that you listed, but i can tell you of the satisfaction that I have experienced with my Michelins on my 01 Suburban. With 245,000 miles on the vehicle, I am now on my 3rd set of Michelin LTX M/S2. I got 70,000 miles on each of the first two sets and had it not been for Chicagoland winter coming on in both cases I could have seen another 5000 miles on both sets. I don't drive the burb as much any more; in fact, i bought my last set in 2011, so they may have even replaced that tire by now. I must add, although pricey, that first set ended up only costing me a penny per mile...not too shabby, and they seemed to ride as good as new the entire time...and during three sets I never had a single problem other than a nail or two with no respect for quality. So if price is a concern try to think of what it will cost you per mile; where quality may be expensive a lack of it can cost you more.
