Default torsion bar

Just piked up a 94' Suburban 4 x 4 1500 on the cheap. It seems like the torsion bars are shot. The front left is sitting on the frame and the steering arm. The right front is a little higher but nor much. Basically non existent. I know enough to know I don't know enough. Any ideas on how to proceed?

Unless they are broken, bushings need replaced. If they are broken, you should look at other issues

They seem to be intact, I will check for cracks and fissures. So start with the bushings? Thank you.
