Towing with factory air suspension and equalizer bars

Towing with factory air suspension and equalizer bars
I have a 2016 suburban with the factory air leveling suspension. I am having difficulty setting up my RV hitch equalizer bars because the leveling suspension keeps activating. Is there a way to turn off the air suspension or a certain order I need to be adjusting the bars?
