Default Tow capacity and rear axle ratio

Just saying hi and getting started. I have a lot of questions so I'll start reading.
Maybe someone can direct me to Tow capacity 2011 Suburban LT 4 wheel drive, specifically, how do I find which axle I have..

Default Towing with a Suburban.

Hi All.
I'm looking for info on the tow weight capacity on a 2011 Suburban LT 5.3 4 wheel drive.
More specifically, can someone tell me how to determine which axle I have?

I tried that on another site but came up short. I asked the guys at oil stop to look and they said they couldn't read the numbers on the axle.
I'm going to have to crawl under there myself. But I need to know what to look for? What I'm looking at?

don't think its tagged or marked on the outside. you could mark one revolution of tire rotation and count the driveshaft rotation.

That's getting a little complicated and beyond my understanding.
They come with a 3.0 something axle or a 3.42 something. That determines the difference of about 2kto3k weight capacity for the axle.

?if you have a 3.42 the driveshaft will rotate 3.42 times for one tire rotation. if you have 3.73 it will rotate 3.73 times per one tire rotation.
place a mark on the tire and move the vehicle until the mark is back to where you started. mark the driveshaft count the turns during the one wheel roation...how is that to hard? Without a build sheet i can't determine the ratio any other way.

RPO tag in the glove box is your trucks DNA . GU6 is 3.42 rear. G80 is locking diff. Z82 is the trailer package for example.
This is small example how my '11 Tahoe is equipped.
