Default Towing Tire Pressure

Hi - I have a 2018 Suburban Premier. Door sticker pressure is 35 psi. When towing is it advisable to inflate to the max cold tire pressure per the side walls of the tire? My tires show 44 max cold pressure to achieve max load capacity. Thanks

If more air was needed for towing then the door sticker would say so. Leave the tires at 35 cold.
Side of tire pressure is the max. for the tire not the max towing capacity of the Sub. . If your towing heavier than the Sub is rated for you need a heavier / higher rated truck. Brake capacities, cooling and gear ratios come into play when towing heavy, over 7500 lb. trailers.
