Default TPMS fix...

When I bought my 20s I installed new sensors. The sensors had to be reprogrammed just so that the correct tire matched what was on the display but each sensor worked regardless.

Now, I have new rims and new sensors and I'm not getting anything off of them. They're not reading any pressure what so ever.

Has anyone found a fix for this short of going to the dealership?

Are they the OEM sensors?

How old are the sensors? they may have just gone dead and are in need of replacement....

EDIT: I just reread that they are new... you might try having the dealer do the relearn....they charge me $19 bucks for tire rotation and that includes the relearning....

The sensors were brand new still sealed in the package when I got them.

I'd consider having the local dealership program them, at most they are going to charge you the price of a tire rotation...catch them on a good day and they may even do it for free as a courtesy...

I'm a dumb ***...I assumed something besides the normal recalibration needed to be done since none of the sensors were transmitting a pressure reading. I went through the motions just to see what if and it worked!
