Default Traction control light on, no dtc

2012 suburban 5.3 4x4 60k miles. Have service stabilatrak and service traction control on dic at startup. Had dtc c0710 active. Found the tsb about the loose connection at the steering wheel position sensor. Secured the connector body per the tsb instructions. No more dtc after that. The service messages still are displayed. Connected with Modis and checked all controllers for active and stored dtc's. Did not find any other dtc's. Engine runs fine, all vehicle functions are working except traction control and stabilatrak. Disconnected battery for 10 minutes, no change. Please advise, thanks.

maybe the steering wheel position sensor needs calibration after removing the connector? check the modis to see if it can perform this function.

I didn't see a calibration for the steering wheel position sensor. I can watch the out put of the sensor and there is no skips of jumps in the output signal. Kind of difficult to fix when there is no dtc!
Thanks for your reply.
