My suburban will drive fine then the speedometer will bounce abs light will come on then loose third gear and overdrive any help please

 

I had the same symptoms. Got home in 2nd gear. Turns out the 3rd and 4th gear clutch packs were shot and I need a new trans. Got a rebuilt GM.

 

It only does it sometimes

 

i'd be checking your speed sensor and the wiring to it, should be on top of the transfer case towards the back
