Transmission temp message/Check Engine light

Transmission temp message/Check Engine light
2008 Chevy Suburban LTZ- 2 wheel Drive 1500
I just had the engine light come on with a message on the dash stating "transmission temperature at 165". As this appears to be well withing the normal operating range, wasn't sure what the issue was. The only other light that is on is the "check tire pressure" as one of my TPMS sensors is bad, so not sure if that might be on the same circuit and causing an issue.
Any help would be appreciated
