Default Transmission vent line

I am just finishing installing a rebuilt 4l60e trans into my 2002 tahoe. I have everyting connected and installed except one thing. There is a vent tube that runs from the trans to the top of the bellhousing on the right side of the trans where the breather is, but at the trans the hose y-off and another hose runs back towards the transfer case. I already have a vent hose connected to the transfer case on the driver side of the trans that runs to another breather at the top of the bellhousing. Any help on where this vent hose runs to?
