Default Trying to see if the factory XM module pulled out of my Tahoe fits any other GM trucks?

I just pulled out my XM factory module from behind my 2007 Tahoe glove box when I upgraded to a Kenwood head unit. Do the earlier radios, specifically the 2003 Silverado with the factory CD player have XM capabilities and if so will it have a place in the wiring harness over there?

Thanks... Gary

Not compatible with anything unless it is a GMT900 (Tahoe, Silverado, Avalanche or Suburban). It must also be a LAN bus network (07 and up). I have found some to be vin locked (which means it cannot be used on any other vehicle, only on the original vehicle.), then again I have found a few that were not locked (seemed to be the ones that were remanufactured or repair replacements.)
