tune up cost
Back in the dark old ages, that might mean also rebuilding the carburetor, installing new points and condenser and checking that the ignition
timing was correct and that the vacuum and centrifugal timing advance was operating as it should. The ECM controls all that stuff nowadays
and carburetors are not longer used, since fuel injection became the norm in the mid-late 1980's,
Speaking of fuel injectors, if you are running cheap gas, you might want to clean them up with some Chevron Techron or Seafoam down the gas tank.
And it's Chevy, not shev.
Last time I checked $75-90 bucks an hour labor was norm at most shops. Did all 8 plugs on my K-1500 in about an hour.

the cost of 8 iridium plugs in Canada are $100-$130. Labour rates at a dealership in the city average $130-140hr. Add 13%tax.
$75 hour door rate is for mom and dad shops in the small towns 10 years ago....at least in Canada. Techs in Canada make 30% of the door rate.
