Default Turbo Charging 2012 Suburban 1500?

I live in Utah @ 7000 ft and our 2012 Suburban is a complete turd up here at altitude. Has anyone turbo charged their 5.3? If yes, did you do it yourself or pro install and how much?

Welcome to the forum.

An easier power adder would be a ProCharger. That would probably run $5-7K installed.

Another (cheaper) option might be regearing. What axle ratio do you have? Going to a 3.73 or 4.10 would definitely help.

+1 on supercharging. Magnuson makes a bolt-on DIY kit for $6k. CLICK HERE
