i have been diagnosing some AC problems in my 2000 Burban. When i removed the glove box door on the passenger side, i noticed a black cable (factory GM) with a small white 10 pin connector on the end just laying behind the glove box.

does anyone know what this connects to?

 

my guess would be for XM Radio if you didn't have the option....

 

i dont think so only because i dont believe Chevy was offering XM in as an option in 2000! and i dont have an XM antenna anywhere on my Burb...

 

does the haynes thing have anything in it?

or is that where they attach the secret gov't tracking device?

 

OnStar would have been my next guess
