Adding too much can be disasterous. Liquid doesn't compress, therefore you get what's called slugging the compressor and that's just really bad. new2me and in2pro had good advice. Start slow. Let us know how it works out.

Default A/c, idle

Well I got both of my problems corrected with all your help, thanks, I clean the throttle body and I fill the a/c with r134 but I over filled it and it started making some weird sounds so I finally got a better gauge and I let some r134 drain out and all is o.k. for now.

What is the recommended oil weigh I should be using for my miles (98,000) ???

Same weight as originally recommended. Might consider switching to one of the new high mileage oils if your consumption is up.

Check the belt idler pulley and make sure it’s not too loose
