Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Now my question is, if I get a tuner, will the tuner program erase the update I just got uploaded? Thanks...
The programmer will not erase the update. But beware that if you have some sort of failure on your Tahoe the programmer may void your warranty if its shown to have caused the failure.

Took my Tahoe in this morning for the recall 07033, document id#1903112. This is also a recall for battery rundown, seems to be the same thing as ZX posted. However, the VIN numbers are different. Here are the TAHOE VINS this includes (per my dealership), 7J100002-7J315831, and 7R100001-7R347487.

Correct, 07033A corrects a similar issue as 07007B just uses different software that is compatible with the different BCM's.

Looking through these posts I can not find any mention of a 2007 Chevy Silverado Z71. My battery was dead after one day of sitting in the garage. Is it possible I have run into the same problem mentioned in this thread? If so where can I find the recall notice to show to my dealer?

Thanks,

Ed

Welcome to the Tahoe forum.

Best bet is to talk with your service mgr. He should be aware if the Silvys had the same issue.
