Default Upgrading factory options

Both my 2012 Ram and my 2015 Jeep had certain factory options not included that could be added by the dealer with a hardware kit and/or a software upgrade. Things like backup camera, electric tailgate lock, trailer brake, standalone Nav, and others. The wiring harness for most of these options was already in place making it very easy for the dealer or a DIYer (like myself) to add these features fairly easily. Do our 'Burbs have this capability? I wouldn't mind having the HUD as I can see the hardware is there on my dash for it. Should be nothing more than a software update. It already displays flashing red lights on the windshield when I get to close to a car in front. Trailer brake would be another one I'd like to add. Chrysler even has packages you can buy with all the parts needed to do this, like a wiring harness, dash bezel with cutouts and switches and instructions, etc.
