Default USA Spec iPod interface installed in '98 Tahoe

Since I was unable to locate any information on the USA Spec device for the '95+ style Tahoe on this forum, I decided I'd make a post to note that the USA Spec iPod interface device works wonderfully with my '98 Tahoe's factory radio.

NOTE: If vehicle is equipped with the tape deck and a separate CD player (as mine is), the CD player can NOT be hooked up simulatenously with the USA Spec; i.e., you will lose your CD player when this device is hooked up. Disappointing, yes.. but for me the iPod is more important.

The sound quality with the USA Spec is FAR superior to my Roadtrip unit (FM radio modulation) that I had been using, even though I had no problem with crackling with that.

Radio controls work great (track up, down, fwd or rev while in track, etc).

If anyone has any questions, I'm sure I can help.
