Over in the Tahoe section a gentlemen named George and myself have been exploring the possibility of swapping my Suburban's 2nd-row bench for his Tahoe's 2nd-row captain's chairs. Unfortunately the mounting brackets appear to be too different between the two vehicles. However, what we've learned seems to suggest that a Suburban-to-Suburban swap (or Tahoe-to-Tahoe) is probably possible. Should be a matter of just a four bolts on each side.

If anybody out there with a Suburban with 2nd row captain's chairs in black leather would prefer 2nd row bench seats, please contact me and we'll swap information and confirm that this is do-able. My seats are in brand-new condition.

Don't want to hijack your thread, but do you all have any leads on anybody wanting to trade tan leather suburban buckets for my tan leather bench. I posted in the classifieds section but haven't gotten any replies.

Yes absolutely, as long as the seats come the same model (Suburban to Suburban, Tahoe to Tahoe), it's just a straightforward bolt-on swap, nothing has to be modified.
