Paint the size of a quarter came off on my hood, I am the orginal owner and have always serviced the vehicle at the dealer.

Is this covered under the warranty?

 

Paint issues not the result of a factory defect are rarely covered under warranty. A chip on a 4 year old vehicle likely has nothing to do with a factory defect unless it was a bubble in the paint and you can show that it was. You can always ask your dealer, but don't get mad or be surprised if they won't warranty it.
