Default Weird A/C Problem

Although I work at Acura, my Tahoe's A/C is acting up. Cold one minute, warm the next. It seems that when I move the A/C plug on the compressor it is Ok. I have been doing it once a week, now every other day etc. What is up with that? Is it the connection? The A/C throws snow ***** when working..the shop said the freon level was OK. Could it be the dash temp control? I'm stumped, and no tech around here knows.... Thanks for the help........M

I have a similar problem on my 90... the compressor cycles real fast until I get out there and wiggle the connection at the freon canister on the firewall. it's clear the plug has been replaced once already, I've been considering just eliminating the plug and hardwiring it, but I use the pickup so little I just haven't gotten around to it.

sounds like you got just about the same thing.
