Default What polish to use on factory wheels 2003 Tahoe

I have 5 spoke with center hub cover wheels and they look like aluminum. There is some dulling on the spokes. I thought Mother's Mag and AL polish would work and it has helped but not entirely. And, there is a warning which states that if I do not get black on the rag when removing the Mothers polish, to stop as I have the wrong product. So, can someone shed some light on how to best clean them? Thanks. Tom

They are clear coated and it tends to yellow with age. Nothing you can do short of striping and repolishing them.

Using spray wax is an easy way to add shine and protection, but for the best result I would get the clear coat off and polish the wheels.
