Default Wheel Bearing noise...Not?

Hi,

I have an 02 Tahoe and it sounds like wheel bearings are bad but I replaced both front bearings and installed new tires, balanced ect. I still have the loud sound that starts around 25 MPH and gets lounder as you increase the speed. I am stumped what to do next. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Have you considered differential gears, etc?

Yup rear end is the first thing that comes to my mind. Is the sound a harmonic howl or a grinding? might consider u-joints also
