Default Where to look to see if a Burb has the G80 Diff

Newb here to the forum but not to Suburbans. I sold my 2002 last year and bought a Sequoia and now I'm giving it to my wife and I'm buying another Suburban. I really want a Eaton G80 Diff but I don't have a clue how to tell if it has one. I'm going to look at a 2003 LT 4x4 tomorrow morning with 130,000 miles and would like to see if it has the G80 diff. Where do I look to see if it has it?

Thanks for the help

Check to see if there's a build Tag in your Glove box.
Look for the G80 being listed.

PS:
Uoops, sorry in2pro, you've already said that, I guess I should start reading the replies too !

Thanks, guys, I appreciate it. It did not have the G80. I found the sticker but no limited slip. One more question and I'll leave you alone.............for now. Does certain models normally have the G80, like the Z71 model? I know with the 4Runners, most limiteds have the rear E-Locker option.

I would have bought the 03 Suburban the other day if the lady had came ( sorry I didn't finish this ) down on price. The Tranny was slipping so I would of had to put a transmission in it.

Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure if you know...
The G80 only locks up until you reach about 20mph, then unlocks.

Does the GM version operate electrically or from speed sensing mechanically?

That's what I thought but I saw the Eaton site showed an electric locker.
