I bought some strong double sided tape, covered the perimiter of the ballast, and then stuck my ballest under the cross bar like nuyorican, and then used very heavy duty strap ties to secure it in position. When I thought it was secured, I added another strap tie for overkill. With the tape underneath there is no rattling or movement. I changed my settings so that the lights wouldn't come on during unlockand turned off once key was removed. I got the 8000K and love them.

 

Here is where I mounted mine. I got the 4300k since I use it mostly for actually being able to see (bad night eyes) better than aesthetics.
