! Why would I ever buy the kit when I can get just the muffler for about $80? Hell I could have a dual set up through my local shop with that muffler and tips for around 250. Or I could slap the muffler on the factory exhaust for a total of $100. I think those kits are very over priced and not worth the money. But I would pay 250! So if you have one for 250 let me know and I will take it. That is my final offer, deal or no deal?

I just thought you were bagging on rick. I agree the kits are overpriced. Not sure why you can't just buy the muffler with whatever adapters needed to fit it's nipples to your exhaust. You used to be able to do that back in the day.

Nope, not bagging on Rick at all. His price is the best I have found.
You can just get the muffler and slap it into your stock exhaust. If I were to put on exhuast that is what I would do!

I haven't researched it yet but I doubt that an aftermarket muffler will have the correct size nipples to fit our exhaust system without adapters. Also don't know if you can get st-st adapters either.

Shark, you are cracking my *** up. Are you calling the nipples the inlet and outlet on the muffler? Muffler companies have 100's if not 1000's of combination in muffler sizes and inlet/outlet sizes and offsets. If you are calling nipples inlet/outlets, then yes I am positive magnaflow has the correct inlet/outlet size in the correct offset! I am confused on this whole nipple thing? Damn, I am going to have to go visit my wife now to get some real nipple action!

Sorry, hate to use those technical terms. Yes you have seen thru my ruse, the inlet/outlets on mufflers are referred to as nipples or at least used to be. If what you say is true, that's great. Sure would save a lot of work. You'll still have to get a short piece of pipe to make up for the difference in length though.
