Who's familiar with Fuel management lifters?
seems i may have one sticking in my 07 Yukon . been having a misfire intermittenly on cyl 6 , it activates my traction control light ,service stabiltract warning and engine light flashing (misfire). took it in to the dealer and they suspect it is the FM lifter sticking . what is it? where is it located? anyone know ? thanks
Not 100% sure but I think they in the same place as regular lifter. I believe they are using a scheme that controls the oil to them to activate/deactivate. Should be covered under the 5yr/100K powertrain warranty.
i hope it is , if it internal it should be ... yesterday i spoke to them at 5:00 they were thinking that was it (confirmed injectors were ok) today at 2 they were taking the valve cover off and i haven't heard back from them??? they are to keep me posted via email. thanks for your reply!!!
