Default Why Is It?

Why is it that a Tahoe takes 6 qts of oil and the majority of dealer specials for oil change and lube only provide 5 qts of oil for the price stated in their promotions. There is always a extra charge for the required6th qt to top off the oil change. I have no where to perform the oil change myself so I have to go to a dealer. That's messed up!

I here what your saying but if they offer a six quart special the price would be more than the 5 quart special anyway so paying for the extra quart should be really no big deal.

Not meaningto jump on your post here but what about the guys that run the Mobile-1 where's are special?

In all fairness I love my Dealer, at 300 miles Switched to Mobile-1 went into to pay and she says: 1st oil change NO CHARGE .....SWEET

AAHTahoe,
You make a very good point.
The other day I was shopping at the grocery store with my wife (something I rarely do), we were having a little BBQ with friends over and had to pick up some party items.
We decided on a Mexican theme complete with cerveza, margaritas, tacos and etc.
So there I was standing in front of a sign at the avocado display which read: ”3 avocadoes for $5"; well I don't need to tell you what my dilemma was but I needed more then 3 of those bad boys, I was having a party.
