Wierd One. What can I swap my 7.4 454 big block with?
Call me crazy for wanting to give up my big block but this 7.4 454 big block k2500 is rediculous on gas and has a bad rear main seal, and intermittent transmission slippage. Rather than rebuild it all and still have a gas guzzling big for nothing monster. Is there a more efficient motor/trans that I can swap in and actually have a truck that I can drive across the country or long trips?
