I have a 2012 Suburban LT with the DVD, CD, Radio and I have the opporutnity to purchase a navigation unit from a 2009 Tahoe. Will the harness need replacing or will it be plug and play other than the theft lock programming? Anyone know?
Thanks in advance

I thought about getting the factory Nav unit for my 07. Last week i decided to go with Kenwood's DNX 6180 with the garmin Map feature. Works Great, didnt want to rely on a Nav. disc

For the most part, it will be "plug and play." There may be some minor additional wiring involved, but nothing too hard. I can explain further if you go this route.
FYI - Make sure the unit you are looking at has the DVD symbol on the front, lower left of the unit. Many don't realize this, and end up purchasing one that doesn't support DVD play-back capability. Also, if you have the USB port in your Suburban, and intend on using the USB plug, you need to make sure the unit you are getting is compatible with the USB.
On a side note, if I were you (and had a 2012 Tahoe/Suburban), I would be looking for a unit from a 2012. I know it's rather early yet to be finding available units, but they redesigned the OEM navigation for 2012. It's still not as good as some aftermarket systems, but the interface is WAY better, and the navigation is no longer disc based (all hard drive).

I would not. the 2012, from at least the Nav Disc perspective is different.
I would personally go for the 2012 one or aftermarket.
Although, Sat-Nav was a must have on my list for purchase, so that's obviously the best solution.
