Will a Factory Nav work in my suburban LT?
I have a 2012 Suburban LT with the DVD, CD, Radio and I can purchase a navigation unit from a 2009 Tahoe. Will the harness need replacing or will it be plug and play? Anyone know?
Thanks in advance

Do a seach on this forum. This subject has been dicussed several time I can not remember all the details. I do know it will have to go to the dealer for the BCM to be reprogrammed after install. My opinion would be to by something aftermarket

I bought an almost brand new unit off Craigslist (Delphi built in Mexico October 2011) and it plugs in with my factroy harness no problem. That was one of my initial concerns. That being said, my buddy who works for a GM dealer brought over his Tech II and laptop but couldn't get it to work. He said he will call GM this Friday to find out if there is some type of program or number he can get to "push" it through. (Not sure how good he is as a technicia, sorry dude) I think he knows what he's doing.. lol
Does anyone know if there is something more that needs to be done to get it to work and unlock?
My truck is a 2012 Suburban LT. I have the dual TV's and my original radio is a CD, DVD, XM, etc.. type setup.
I have tried to search the site but everything is older and I'm not sure if there is something different on the 2012's.
Thanks in advance!
And by the way, what does BCM stand for????
