I have a 2011 Z71 Tahoe and have been looking to put a metal prerunner style bumper on it for a while now, but there doesn't seem to be many options within my price range or that I like for the Tahoe specifically. Someone told me a while ago that the mounting brackets are the same on the 1500s and the tahoes, but because the grilles and bumpers are two separate pieces on the Silverados but one piece on the Tahoes I'd have to cut the bumper part off of the grille. I have no problem with doing that but I want to make sure the silverado bumper will actually mount on before I start hacking away at my bumper. Does anyone know? Thanks
